Information Overload

In the last two weeks I’ve been getting up at 5AM going to work, return home take care of the kids and then put them to bed, building and installing new kitchen cabinets, build a router table and I’ve been trying to setup a Internet Marketing business, 3 websites (1 for my wife and 2 for myself… more on this later). You can understand that I don’t go to bed early. Usually around 1 AM.

Tonight I’m exhausted, I’m not complaining, because setting up my blogs and starting an online business is pretty exciting and it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time.

In the last two weeks to get me started I’ve done alot of reading on webhosting, affilliate programs and list building. Here just a few to get you started

Register a domain name and find a web hosting service. My web hosting and the registration of my first domain was done with Host Papa. They register your first domain free and their hosting prices are reasonable they claim to buy 100% Green Energy. My other 3 domain where bought at NameCheap, you can register a domain for $9.29 at the time I write this article.

An email autoresponder, if you are serious about growing your business you will need a good Autoresponder Service. I chose Aweber, this is a paying service with monthly fees. I will create a post with more details on this later on my experience with Aweber and setting up my first campaign.

I found this great affiliate program to help someone get started.

Then I joined a list builder service (free but there’s a pro version:

• My FreeSafelist (you can pay $12 to become a pro member)
• LeadsLeap

Since I don’t currently have a product to sell, I have joined other affiliate programs, but you will have to come back for that info tomorrow.
